Omen
“After so many years we are now travelling back to Greece, following our route, following
our traces, trying to do things the way Raymond would do things, with decisiveness, intuition and on the go.” (excerpt of the script)
OMEN is structured in 25 "rhapsodies", following the traces of the Duncans’ original trip from Brindisi to Athens in 1903. The movie was edited without a rigid structure of a script and is suggested to be seen as a filmic hypertext, in which experiences of the present are juxtaposed with passages from Homer’s Odyssey, Raymond’s astrological map or parts of a 1955 interview with Orson Wells.
