This PLANT's conversation was all about the real condition of living from cultural practices with Alfredo Puente from Fundación Cerezales, Anne Ibáñez Guridi and Marc Badal Pijoan from Kanpoko bulegoa.

Alfredo Puente – Fundación Cerezales

Art historian. Currently curator of the Cerezales Antonino y Cinia Foundation

[FCAYC], he has been curating projects at this institution which incorporate long time frames. In his work, theoretical and practical, he investigates the relationships that occur, at different time scales, between matter, images and processes where concepts such as territory operate. In addition to FCAYC, he has developed curatorial projects in national and international centers such as MUSAC – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León, Fundación ICO or CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém.

Anne Ibáñez Guridi and Marc Badal Pijoan – Kanpoko bulegoa

Kanpoko bulegoa is a craft workshop with applied thinking around rural culture and territory. From this framework, they generate reflection mechanisms that allow to address everyday concerns from other approaches.They also carry out cultural mediation, curating and teaching activities. Their work could not be understood without the physiological link that they have established for years with the specific territory they inhabit.

Ariadna Rodriguez – Espai nyamnyam (host)

Nyamnyam is a space and collective created in 2012 by artists Iñaki Alvarez and Ariadna Rodríguez. Joining their formations and deformations in various disciplines, their work aims to promote creation, diffraction, knowledge exchange and culture through sharing strategies. They use artistic dynamics and tools to propose interventions in each local context in which they work. The objective is to holistically activate each context’s fabric, incorporating the organisms (human scale and others), systems, environment, and relationships...
